Mala Fabrika Ukusa Restaurant

Mala Fabrika Ukusa is a family-owned restaurant in Belgrade, in which traditional Serbian cuisine has been enhanced with modern techniques and creative ideas of a young team of restaurateurs. 

Since the restaurant is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, the owners needed a quick floor replacement. The design, quick installation, durability and easy maintenance of Tarkett laminate were the reasons the owner chose Vintage 832 with the rustic oak design, which complemented the existing interior. And “overnight” at that!

The challenge was to finish the installation literally overnight.” The space had an existing laminate floor in very bad condition and it required a lot of repair work. We decided to install the new floor on top of the existing laminate and we started somewhere after midnight and finished at 7 o’clock in the morning, before the morning shift arrived. It was not easy, of course, but we did it! At the same time, we proved to ourselves that we are ready to take on new assignments in similar projects.
